North Street Winter 2011/2012 Survey Results

21st June 2011 Digging Starts

The long wait is at last over as the developers move digging equipment on to the site of the new Medical Centre on Canal Way. In Short speeches both Dr Austin & Dr Patuck spoke about exiting new facilities for Ilminster and the surrounding villages.

Both practise's were represented at Monday's celebration of the commencement of work, the practises will be housed in the same building but will continue to operate separately.

Coffee Morning - Focus on Carers

We are holding a Coffee Morning at Summervale Medical Centre on Saturday 16th April 10am - 12 noon. This event will focus particularly on Carers, their needs, the help and support which is available, “Carer Champions” from both surgeries will be available. The event is open to patients form North Street surgery and Summervale Medical Centre.

A Special General Meeting was held at The Shrubbery Hotel 14th September 2010 at 7:30pm to formally bring into being Ilminster PPG. The new PPG which has grown to encompass patients from both North Street Surgery and Sumervale Medical Centre. The PPG is affiliated to NAPP a national patient charity and has close links with Somerset LINk.
